Lonely Bunker is an 8-bit infused pop-punk band from Brooklyn: Jay Stewart, Venu Konda, Chris Huban and John Marek. Chiptune melodies run through distorted guitars, three-part vocals and choruses aimed at the back of the room. Four volumes of the 7 Songs series so far, plus the single Falling, released March 2026.

Lonely Bunker is an 8-bit infused pop-punk band from Brooklyn. Chiptune melodies run through distorted guitars, three-part vocals and choruses aimed at the back of the room: Jay Stewart on vocals and guitar, Venu Konda on guitar and vocals, Chris Huban on bass, John Marek on drums.
It began as a solo record and got louder every volume. Daytime Lullaby was piano and vocal; 7 Songs Vol 1 was the first set of originals. Across four volumes of the 7 Songs series the synths turned 8-bit, the guitars came off the shelf, and the project became a band. The single Falling followed in March 2026.
Live, the four-piece runs backing tracks and a click alongside two guitars, bass, drums and three-part vocals. 2026 took them to Boston Bitdown in March and to BitGen Gamer Fest XX in August, and Weezer, My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan and The Living Tombstone have all shared the band to their Instagram Stories.
